Lynnfield
Two bargaining groups - one for police officers, the other for school custodians and bus drivers - recently signed new three-year contracts with the town. Under the terms, employees will receive no raise in the first year, 2 percent in the second year, and 3 percent in the third year. The groups, which have been working without a contract since July 1, 2010, received the 2 percent second-year raise retroactively, to the July 1 start of the current fiscal year.
