Two town panels overseeing the Galvin Middle School building project are holding the first of three public forums on the plan at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the new Center for the Performing Arts at Wakefield High School. The town’s Permanent Building Committee and the Galvin Middle School Building Advisory Committee have scheduled their next two community updates for Oct. 3 and Nov. 1. Tappé Associates, a Boston design firm, is undertaking a feasibility study to evaluate whether renovation, expansion, or a new building would be the best solution for the building’s needs. - John Laidler
