Residents are invited to West Bridgewater’s 20th annual Park Day today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at War Memorial Park, on River Street. The event, which is free and open to all, will include hay rides, pony and horse rides, face painting, a craft fair, a moon walk, a rubber duck race, and vendors selling food and other items. There will also be continuous live entertainment on three stages. There is no parking at the park, but free shuttle buses will run throughout the day from Town Hall to the high school and the park. The bus will also stop at a 9/11 memorial display that will be in front of the police and fire station for the day. About 4,000 to 6,000 people typically turn out for the Park Day celebration, which is organized by local volunteers headed by Selectman Jerry Lawrence.
