Town manager search narrows

The Town Manager Search Committee has cut the pool of candidates from 62 applicants to eight, said chairman James M. Xenakis. The remaining hopefuls will be invited to interview for the town’s top position within the next two weeks in private sessions with the committee. After the interviews, the committee will select four to six finalists to recommend to the Board of Selectmen for the final decision, Xenakis said.
