Community conversations

Fortune magazine editor-at-large David Whitford will moderate a series of Tuesday night conversations at Arlington High School beginning at the end of this month. Paul Lukez, an architect and author of “Suburban Transformations’’ who has served as a visiting professor at MIT and a number of universities around the world, will open the Arlington Community Education series at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27. The second conversation, on Oct. 11, will feature Kecia Ali, a professor of religion at Boston University; and the third conversation will be Oct. 25 with Andrea Campbell, a political scientist at MIT.
