Exploring sound at museum

The Discovery Museums is holding a ceremony to open its new SoundLab exhibit at 2 p.m. Saturday. Children can record scripts, songs, or jingles in the recording booth, and see their voiceprints on an oscilloscope. They can also try out the exhibit’s mixing studio, instrument lab, and electronic air harp. The two-museum complex is at 177 Main St.
