Snarled traffic on several major roadways has prompted a host of complaints, but Selectman chairman John J. Connolly is urging residents to be patient as needed roadwork is completed. He said about $500,000 in repairs are underway at two major culverts at Pine Street and at Bolivar Street, which were damaged in the March 2010 flooding. These have caused significant traffic delays, especially around Will Drive. In addition, repairs and paving have been underway on Route 138 (Turnpike Street) between Washington and Randolph streets. - Elaine Cushman Carroll
