HULL
The Forsyth Institute in Cambridge set up a dentist office at Jacobs Elementary School last week and provided free dental care to about 30 students. The program is designed to “fill the gap in dental care for at-risk children and ensure that they get prevention as early as possible,” according to a spokesman. Jacobs Assistant Principal Christine Cappadona said the institute, which is affiliated with Harvard, approached Hull schools because they have a large number of students eligible for free or reduced-fee school lunches. Students from pre-kindergarten through middle school can get the free dental care, Cappadona said.
