- North Shore Community College on Wednesday is holding a Sustainability Fair focused on food, fitness, and healthy living from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Lynn campus. The fair, free to all, will promote consumption of locally grown organic food, seek to build awareness of where food comes from, and examine the connection between food and health. A variety of area organizations, along with a number of the college’s departments and student clubs, will participate in the fair, which also will include dance and martial arts demonstrations, as well as raffles and give-aways. The event is one of two sustainability fairs the college is hosting this month. The other, focusing on renewable energy technology, will be held on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the college’s Danvers campus.
