Business awards launched

- The town kicked off its Business Recognition Program this fall to honor businesses for outstanding achievement or contributions to the community. A special award will go to new businesses that have demonstrated “outstanding dedication and creativity,” according to a press release from the town’s Economic Development Commission. Businesses that have achieved anniversary milestones also will be recognized at the town’s Business Forum in November. All businesses in Walpole are eligible.
