The Planning Board will resume its hearing on proposed zoning changes for Clock Tower Place at 7 p.m. Thursday in Town Hall. Board members are trying to determine whether they should include the proposals, which would permit apartments and large restaurants and retailers in the former mill complex downtown, on the Oct. 26 Special Town Meeting warrant. During the board’s meeting last week, some residents supported the change, while others expressed concerns about potential traffic and parking issues. The board voted to continue its hearing this week after learning that an anticipated report by consultants reviewing the proposal was not available. Town Counsel Mark Bobrowski assured residents and the board that the consultants’ findings would be ready for review by tomorrow. - Michelle Cerulli ![]()
