Volunteers who have helped grow food in the new community vegetable garden at the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless are invited to a fall gathering at the garden on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fresh produce grown this summer in the organic garden’s first year was donated to the coalition’s busy food pantry. Volunteers will work together at Tuesday’s gathering to pull up this year’s crops, spread lots of manure, till the soil, and plant bulbs. Participants are also invited to bring a healthy snack and a favorite garden-fresh recipe to share with others. Garden gloves and a variety of tools will be provided. For more information or to RSVP, call the garden coordinator at the Wildlands Trust office at 781-934-9018 or e-mail skugel@wildlandstrust.org. - Robert Knox![]()
