The fall household hazardous-waste collection has been set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 5 at Town Hall, on Nickerson Avenue. For a list of accepted items and other information about the event, visit the town’s website, www.middleborough.com. The Paint Exchange of North Scituate, with the help of state grant money, will also be there to accept usable, leftover latex interior paint, which will be recycled and used to make new paint. - Christine Legere
