Catholic schools in Gloucester, Lowell, Lynn, and Peabody will share a $1.2 million gift from the Mosakowski Family Foundation, a charity run by Bill and Jane Mosakowski of Swampscott.

St. Ann School in Gloucester, St. Jeanne d’Arc School in Lowell, St. Pius V School, Sacred Heart School, and St. Mary Junior-Senior High School, all of Lynn, and St. John The Baptist School in Peabody each will receive a share of the grant.

Funds can be used for scholarships, technology, student assessment, and teacher professional development, among other uses, according to the Archdiocese of Boston.
