Needham’s Olin College is hosting a community conversation about energy and the environment tomorrow night at 6:30 in Milas Hall. Presented in collaboration with the Needham League of Women Voters and Green Needham, the conference will feature as speakers David Cash, commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and veteran NPR reporter Anthony Brooks. Topics to be discussed will include the Massachusetts 2020 Clean Energy and Climate plan, creating energy independence, accelerating the development of a clean-energy economy for Massachusetts, and addressing global climate change. Their conversation will be followed by break-out sessions with local college and high school students about what’s next for Needham. More information is available at www.greenneedham.org or by contacting Dee Magnoni at 781-292-2389 or dianna.magnoni@olin.edu.
