The town’s Human Rights Committee and the Lexington Historical Society are cohosting a panel discussion from 2 to 4 p.m. today in Carey Hall about civil rights and issues the community faced during the 1960s and 1970s. The participants will include Alan D. Booth, a Lexington High graduate who was in the first class of Boston students attending suburban schools through the Metco program. - Brock Parker
