New Council on Aging director

Jacqueline Coucci of New Bedford has taken over as the executive director at the Mattapoisett Council on Aging, succeeding Vanessa Williams, who resigned in the summer. Coucci had worked as senior program manager for five senior centers in New Bedford for the past five years. She said a large part of her job will be to increase participation in senior center programs and provide more educational programs and speakers. - Paul Kandarian
