Wellspring Multi-Service Center is holding a special fund-raiser - 11:11:11: Making Wishes Come True - on Friday at the Hingham Shipyard. The event will feature a “wish wall’’ similar to a silent auction. But instead of bidding on items such as jewelry or restaurant dinners, participants will compete to fulfill specific needs of Wellspring clients. Examples include “a bike so I can get to work faster’’ and “enough diapers for my son.’’ “Every dollar raised will support our efforts to help people in our communities who have fallen on hard times,’’ said executive director Vinny Harte. “It is the aim of all Wellspring programs to reach beyond providing emergency services to help people to become more independent and productive members of the community.’’ Tickets and more information are available at www.wellspringhull.org. - Johanna Seltz![]()
