Major bridge reopens

A major thoroughfare between Bridgewater and its neighbors to the east was recently reopened after being closed for more than a year due to flood damage. The Bridge Street bridge repair, which required engineering and design work as well as construction, cost about $150,000 to complete.Money for the work came from funds supplied by the Federal Emergency Management Agency along with highway aid from the state. - Christine Legere
