School projects on warrant

Special Town Meeting is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school auditorium. Residents will be asked to vote on nine articles, including additional funding for two school building repair projects, and whether to adopt a local-option restaurant meals tax. James Mealey, the school district’s business administrator, said voters will likely be pleased to see that they are being asked for $235,118 to fund roof repairs at Sargent Elementary and North Andover Middle School, instead of the original estimate of $700,000 for the work. - Katheleen Conti
