Cap on tax break for seniors

Voters on Tuesday approved a $15,000 cap on the town’s Senior Work Off program, which allows older residents to help offset their property taxes by working in town departments. The vote came as part of a Special Town Meeting session that also greenlighted approximately $10,500 in repairs to Fire Department vehicles, and settled a variety of planning and town accounting details for the current fiscal year.
