Joseph McGann was defeated in his Town Council reelection bid in the Nov. 8 election. Jeffrey Roy, a former chairman of the School Committee, and new candidates Robert Dellorco, Thomas Mercer, and Andrew Bissanti won seats on the council, along with five incumbents who were reelected. . Ed Cafasso was the only incumbent to lose his seat on the School Committee, while newcomers Sean Donahue, John Jewell, and Pamela McIntyre were added to the committee.
