The Board of Health is sponsoring a rabies vaccine clinic for pets next Saturday. Dr. Steve Cloutman from the Manomet Animal Hospital will run the clinic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Little Red Schoolhouse on the corner of Herring Pond and Long Pond roads in South Plymouth. Vaccinations cost $10 per animal, and residents should bring their pet’s certification from the previous year to see if they qualify for a three-year vaccine. All pets must be leashed or transported in a pet carrier. In Massachusetts, all cats and dogs over the age of six months are required by law to be vaccinated. For more information, call the Plymouth Health Department at 508-747-1620, ext. 118.
