Gifts for children in need

During the holiday season, the East Bridgewater chapter of H.U.G.S., or Help Us Give Support, provides help to families in need. A giving tree has been set up in the Town Hall lobby, decorated with hearts bearing gift wishes from local children. Visitors can take a heart and purchase the item listed on it. Those wishing to donate to the cause may also contact Theresa at 508-350-9811. Last year, 130 children and 63 families were helped. - Christine Legere
