Holidays in Halifax will be held next Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. with Breakfast with Santa and continuing at 9 a.m. with a craft fair at the elementary school. Main events in the evening include a choral performance at the school at 4:30 p.m. From 5 to 8 p.m., visitors may stroll the center of town, which will be festooned with lights. Several municipal buildings will be open and decorated. The Congregational Church’s bell ringers have scheduled performances, and the Halifax Village on South Street will feature blacksmith demonstrations and ice sculptures. For details on a chili cook-off at the Fire Department that day, e-mail holidaysinhalifax@gmail.com.
