The City Council has postponed a vote on raising $12 million for a new parking garage at the Worth Lot until next month, after the new council is impaneled. The move came after preliminary results of a $19,000 study of the city’s parking needs were revealed. The study, by Nelson/Nygaard Consulting Associates of Boston, recommended that the city increase its parking supply to accommodate anticipated growth, but found space constraints at the Worth Lot to be problematic. - Tom Long ![]()
