Maria Trozzi, a Boston University School of Medicine professor, will speak Tuesday on how to help children develop resilience. The lecture will begin at 7 p.m. in Memorial Middle School. Among the topics Trozzi will address are how to help children deal with disappointments, guidelines on when to push and not to push children, and learning how to “not hover.” Trozzi teaches developmental pediatrics and heads the Good Grief Program at Boston Medical Center. Her talk is sponsored by the Hull Special Education Advisory Council and the Hull public schools student services office. - Johanna Seltz
