Hospital seeks volunteers

South Shore Hospital is looking for volunteers to work in its Pediatric Department. Duties include visiting with patients, playing games, reading books, stocking supplies, assembling charts, cleaning toys, and organizing and tidying the family play room, as well as some light clerical work. Volunteers must be 18 or older and have previous experience working with children in a professional setting. Volunteers also must be able to commit to one day a week for a year.
