Jingle Ride to Boston today
Cyclists dressed in holiday costumes are scheduled to ride from Arlington to Boston and back today in the 15th annual Jingle Ride. The 22-mile trek, organized by Ciclismo Classico, a bicycle vacation planning business based in Arlington, will start at 10:15 a.m. from Jam N’ Java, 594 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington Center, with participants due back around 4 p.m.; rain would delay the ride until next Sunday. The cyclists will travel through Harvard Square and along the Esplanade en route to Boston Common and Newbury Street before heading back to Arlington for a gathering at the home of Ciclismo Classico founder Lauren Hefferon. A donation of $25 is suggested, with proceeds going to the nonprofit organization Cycle Kids. Participants must sign up for the ride; call 781-646-3377. - Brock Parker![]()
