Buy hunting licenses online

The town clerk has announced that beginning next month the town will no longer be selling hunting and fishing licenses. The change was triggered by a new policy instituted by the state Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, which wants all hunters, anglers, and trappers to purchase their licenses, stamps, and permits electronically, through an online system called MassFishHunt. Individuals who do not have access to a computer may purchase a license for next year at a local vendor or at one of the agency’s regional offices.
