Transfer stations stickers for 2012 are now available in the town clerk’s office. Stickers are required for residents to use the transfer station on South Elm Street for their trash disposal. The fee is $65 per sticker, with a maximum of two stickers per household. Those seeking stickers must present their motor vehicle registration at the time of purchase. If their current address is not on the registration, residents must provide proof of residence. Stickers can also be purchased by mail. Those doing so should send a copy of their vehicle registration, a check for the fee payable to the Town of West Bridgewater, and a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the clerk’s office. For more information, call the office at 508-894-1200. Meanwhile, officials are reminding residents that the townwide winter parking ban is now in effect. No on-street overnight parking is permitted. All hockey nets, basketball hoops, and other items in the street must be removed. - John Laidler
