375th birthday celebration

A committee is starting to plan activities for the town’s 375th birthday celebration in 2013 and will be holding a series of meetings over the next several months. The 375th Committee will host a yearlong celebration beginning in June 2013. The committee is inviting all Wayland groups, organizations, and individuals to plan events for their own group or for the whole town related to the larger celebration. All monthly meetings will be held on Wednesdays in the Town Building at 7 p.m. The Feb. 29 meeting will focus on Wayland history. The committee is also looking for people interested in helping with logistics, publicity, social media, and the events.
