New hiking trail available

There is a new hiking trail available in town, thanks to the work of Eagle Scout and Westborough resident Josh Saari. The Westborough high senior and a crew of his peers worked to clear out the new trail along the Assabet River, named the Oak Bluffs Trail. To celebrate and commemorate the opening, residents are invited to participate in a winter walk today on the flat, two-mile trail. The walk will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Hikers can meet in the northwest corner of the Regal Cinema at Stagecoach Plaza off Route 9.
