Olde Abington’s 300th anniversary celebration will be held March 3 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Conference Center at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, and reservations will not be accepted after Feb. 22. Guests from towns representing “Olde Abington,’’ which include Whitman and Rockland, are encouraged to attend in period dress. The event will feature a catered buffet dinner, dancing, and music performed by Four Guys in Tuxes. Reservations may be made with a Dance Committee member - Ann Kent, Terry Maze, Nancy Reid, Lee Shay, Phyllis Wheatley, or Rita Wing - or contact committee member Ann Colby at 781-871-5788 for reservations or tickets, which cost $25. Tickets are also available in many area shops. Snow date is March 4. For more information, visit www.abington300th.webs.com.
