Voter participation studied

A specially appointed study committee will present its recommendations for increasing voter participation to the Board of Selectmen tomorrow night. “Even as the number of registered voters continues to grow, reaching 6,186 as of 2011, participation at Town Meeting continues to decline - to a low of 168 voters attending annual Town Meeting last year,’’ said Town Moderator Keith Bergman. Residents are encouraged to weigh in by taking an online survey posted on the town’s website, www.littletonma.org.
