PTO hosting auction, gala

The Lowell Elementary School PTO is holding an online auction to raise money toward its “6 Wishes for $6,000’’ campaign. The proceeds will help the PTO buy playground equipment, classroom supplies, MCAS study guides, and library books, and sponsor family events. The auction has about 60 items, including gift certificates for restaurants, family outings and household items. The PTO is also hosting a fund-raiser at 7 p.m. March 9 at Donohue’s, 87 Bigelow Ave., featuring raffles, a wheel of chance, and a Belmont Savings Bank-sponsored Cash Cube game.
