Archdiocese acts against O'Brien stalker

The Archdiocese of Boston is suspending a priest, the Rev. David Ajemian (above), who had been accused of stalking NBC "Late Night" host Conan O'Brien. Ajemian had been receiving mental health treatment, but, according to the archdiocese, has stopped doing so against the advice of his doctors and directives from Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley. The statement from the archdiocese:

"Today, the Archdiocese of Boston was informed that Fr. David Ajemian, against the wishes of his bishop, Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley, and medical professionals, checked himself out of a medical facility located outside Massachusetts where he has been staying for the past several months. Our understanding is that he plans initially to return to Massachusetts to the care of his family. As a priest of the Archdiocese of Boston, Fr. David Ajemian made a promise of obedience to his bishop when he was ordained in 2001. In the context of these vows and with his medical care a priority, Fr. Ajemian was instructed to remain at an out of state residential treatment facility indefinitely to receive the care he requires. By his own actions, he has violated this mandate from his bishop. Therefore, he is Absent Without Permission. He is not authorized to function as a priest. We pray for Fr. Ajemian, for his family and for all those who are concerned about his health and well-being. We also pray for those who have been impacted by Fr. Ajemian’s actions."

The archdiocese had last November declared that Ajemian was on leave and "no longer able to exercise public ministry" -- now the archdiocese is ending his financial support as well. Ajemian had pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, and agreed to stay away from O'Brien for two years, but then last month (supposedly while back in town to visit his family and meet with local doctors) he was accused of sending disturbing letters (second item) to actress Lindsay Crouse.

Ajemian and O'Brien both attended Harvard (Ajemian graduated in 1983, and O'Brien in 1985), but it is unclear whether they knew one another there. Crouse, coincidentally, is a Radcliffe alumna (class of 1970).

  1. Oh sure, they'll suspend this guy, but they won't touch the priest who abused me.

I bet if I was a celebrity it would be a different story.

  1. www.bishop-accountability.org/abusetracker for DAILY verified coverage of the ongoing curia crimnal aid, abetter, enabler, CRIMINAL cover up, costing American laity to date at leas $3 Billion US Dollars, with no end in sight, no correction, child endangerment still widely pervasive, and no punishment of guilty cardinals and bishops which include: Law, O'Malley, Mahony, Egan, George, Hubbard, McCormack, McCarrick, Chaput, Burke, Maida, Foley, Leveda, Sambi, Keeler, Becq., Di Nardo, Rigali, Rivera, Brown, Brom, Barnes, Walsh, Steinbock, Weigland, Hughes, Hubbard, Re, Bertone, Scola, Sodano, Hummes, Schonborn, to name only a few.

At www.amazon.com your can find over 100+ recently published and very accurate books on the curia criminality, embezzlements, obstruction of justice, perjury, racketeering, extortion, murder for hire, kidnapping, tax evasion, etc., from such salient & cogent authors as: Roman Catholic Bishops Thomas Gumbleton & Jeffery Robinson, as well as Richard Sipe, Dr. Leon Podels, Jason Berry, Dr. Robert Grant, MD, David Yallop, Attorney Marci Hamilton, Fr. Thomas Reese, SJ, Fr/Dr. Howard Bleichner, SS and Fr/Dr/Canon Lawyer Thomas Doyle, OP, to also only name a few.

At www.youtube.com, or for FREE on DVD at your local public library, watch the 2006 US Academy Award BEST DOCUMENTARY nominated 'DELIVER US FROM EVIL' as well as the 2007 critically acclaimed 'VOWS OF SILENCE'.

The solution to the unresponsive and pervasive lack of punishment of these above EVIL CURIA OFFICE HOLDERS is simple, per what St. Peter Damien suggested almost 1,000 years ago: "STOP DONATING LAITY"!

Until each of the guilty (many hundreds) of curia are each removed from office, each canonically censored, and each placed under life house arrest, like proven serial pedophile and sexual assault enabler Marciel, FOUNDER of the Mexican religious order pedo-cult, The Legion Of Christ, nothing will improve. Alternatively, each must be EXCOMMUNICATED.

Remember these evil office holders are almost all appointed by John Paul II (certainly NO SAINT).

No Curia Accountability? No Laity Monies! It Is THAT Simple!

  1. I attended a parochial school, grades 1 through 8, in the late 1950's through the mid 1960's in the Boston area and had daily contact with not only the teaching nuns but also the priests serving the parish. Not once did I ever see or sense any inappropriate conduct. Ours was a Bells of St. Mary's experience rather than a perverted Animal House horror. Clean up the mess, compensate and treat the victims, and let's move on. Yes, even one case is too many but scandal and abuse was not and is not all pervasive throughout the Church. And especially let's not forget the message of Christ. Flawed human conduct does not automatically lead to flawed Church teaching.

  1. "Edward-Montgomery Al" is not the exception, but the rule. He was in the 91% of Roman Catholic children NOT abused (1950 -2008). Congratulations.

Now get with REALITY, at least 9% were abused in this period of time (per the USCCB's own comissioned JJ Criminal Justice Report - available to read for FREE online at www.bishop-accountability.org); far more than the average on an actuarial basis, in any random population.

The Roman Catholic Church remains a breeding ground for clergy sexual abusers and unpunished curia office holders, that are pedophiles, sexual abusers, teen molestors, enablers, aid and abetters....each andall criminals.

The hard numbers and EVIDENCE are overwhelming.

St. Paul reminds us all in Ephesians 5:11: "Do not deal in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but expose them."

Edmund Burke reminds us all: "The only condition for the triumph of EVIL, is for good men (or women) to do nothing."

No Curia Accountability? No Laity Monies! It Remains THAT Simple!

  1. Cardinal Sean is a hypocrite. Don't know what's up with this mandate stuff. He mandated a sex ed program to be incorporated into the religious ed classes - alot of it is NOT age appropriate.

This extreme action is misuse of power. I pray that Fr, Ajemian will rise above the injustices done to him.

  1. anyone knows where fr. dave ajemian is these days ? forget the prozac and the psychobabble ! hopefully he is now studying what the Holy Bible states on a number of issues. All the philosophy and the pseudo theologians in the seminary caused the problems that many Catholic priests are having today.
