Diagramming the New Testament
This is interesting -- a web site called Many Eyes, which is exploring new ways to visualize data, has come up with a diagram illustrating relatedness among people mentioned in the New Testament. You may have to click on the arrows to make it work:
The web site is the creation of an IBM research group based in Cambridge. The New York Times explains what they're up to; the Globe had earlier explored how this kind of interactive technology fits into IBM's corporate strategy.
