And the 50 most influential Jews are...

The Forward 50, an annual list of the most influential Jews of the year published by the Forward, a Jewish weekly, is out today. The local picks include U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (left), a Newton Democrat who vaulted into the national spotlight this year as a result of his work on the economic crisis, and Sheldon Adelson, the Boston native turned Vegas casino owner whose fortunes have plummeted this year. The 48 others include Rahm Emanuel, Sarah Silverman and Adam Sandler.

Ok, I'm going to take a stab at this, although I am a Christian (Catholic), and I assume i will be attacked for my opinions. (although this is a public blog/forum, no?)
Surprisingly, even though I am a conservative Independent, I am glad that Rahm Emmanuel will be at President Obama's side, first, to get him out of the House, and 2nd, because I love the state of Israel, and although Rahm is listed as a centrist, he will not allow Iran or anyone else to plow Israel into the Mediterranean.
Up with Eric Cantor! Cantor/Jindal or Jindal/Cantor 2012.
You missed Dennis Prager. Whether you like him or not, he is a very influential conservative. Add Jonah Goldberg, Ben Shapiro, and of course Michael Medved to that list.
Barney Frank, not so much. The Hebrew Scriptures are not too much in favor of his lifestyle.
PS Let's not forget the great Kevin (not a typical Jewish name) Youkilis (which many mistake for Greek) of the Boston Red Sox!
Michael Paulson, have you seen such a list for Catholics, Protestants, any other religious category? These lists always make for good conversation fodder.
