Governor Deval Patrick announced today that he'll maintain a busy schedule of public meetings in communities around the state during July and August.

The gatherings include 11 town hall-style meetings open to the public and four public meetings of the governor's cabinet.

The peripatetic governor's office said the meetings are part of the administration's efforts to make government accessible to all people in the state.

"I look forward to hearing from all of my constituents on issues they care about most, and how the state can be a better partner to local communities," Patrick said in a statement.

The town hall meetings are scheduled for Salem, July 8; Hull, July 10; Amesbury, July 16; Holyoke, July 17; Milton, July 21; Webster, July 23; Rehoboth, July 29; Athol, July 30; Great Barrington, Aug. 4; Hyannis, Aug. 11; and Boston, Aug. 23. The Cabinet meetings are scheduled for Amherst, July 17; Lowell, July 22; New Bedford, July 29; and Worcester, July 30.
