Governor Deval Patrick received a birthday serenade this morning from kindergartners from the
Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House, a South End social service agency.

Patrick, 52, was greeted by the children when he signed a new education law.

The governor's staff has yet to provide details about the executive cake.
