Boston Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding an 11-year-old girl from an East Boston neighborhood who has been missing since 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Marizali Aponti |
Police say Marizali Aponti went to a McDonald's in the Central Square area with her brother Tuesday evening. Her mother went to pick them up but could only find her brother. The girl has gone missing in the past, but she always returned home after several hours, police said.
Police have checked with all of Aponti's friends but have had no luck in finding her, so they're hoping to get some useful leads from the public, said police spokeswoman Elaine Driscoll.
Aponti is Hispanic, 4 feet 6 inches tall, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Police asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to call 911, or the District A-7 detectives at 617-343-4234.
