Pembroke officials have scheduled a press conference this afternoon to discuss the E. coli contamination that has had residents boiling tap water since Friday.
The press conference is scheduled for noon at Pembroke Town Hall. Officials continue to hand out bottled water to residents and are still urging residents today to boil water.
The E. coli was first discovered in the water system last Wednesday. The contamination was confirmed with more testing Friday, when the order to boil water went into effect.
