A North Brookfield couple is dead after a car accident yesterday afternoon in Leicester, police said.
Russell Mosman, 83, and Dorothy Mosman, 89, died after a car traveling in the opposite direction crossed into their lane and struck their Buick, Leicester police said.
Russell Mosman, who was driving, was airlifted to the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center, where he later died. Dorothy Mosman was taken to Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other car, Adwoa A. Gyamfi, 41 of Worcester, received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at UMass Memorial. The accident is still under investigation. Leicester Police Chief James Hurley said it was too early to comment on what might have caused the accident.
