Woman's body found in Salem Harbor

The body of a woman was discovered floating in Salem Harbor this morning near the Congress Street Bridge, police said.
The body was spotted by a passerby at about 7:30 a.m. not far from Pickering Wharf, said Lieutenant Paul Lemelin.
The woman has since been identified as a 25-year-old Jocelyn Callahan, according to a spokesman for Essex District Attorney Jonathon Blodgett. The spokesman, Steve O'Connell, said Callahan lived on Peabody street in Salem and that her death did not appear to be the result of criminal violence.
"There is no evidence foul play was involved,'' said O'Connell.
O'Connell said the woman's death remains under investigation.
