A 23-year old man is in critical condition after he fell from a second-story balcony in Brighton early this morning as he was trying to climb a tree on Commonwealth Avenue.
Police did not release the name of the man, who fell to the ground at about 2 a.m. Investigators believe he is a college student.
The man was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and treated for head trauma. He is expected to survive, police said.
