One injured in Mattapan shooting

A man was shot early this morning in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Police responded at about 1:30 a.m. to Hosmer Street, where they found the victim, police said.
No further details were immediately available.
