The MBTA is using buses to get Green Line passengers between Copley and Northeastern stations on the E branch because of broken signals, said Lydia Rivera, a spokeswoman for the transit agency.
Signaling problems are also causing continuing rush hour delays on the C and D branches. Passengers on those branches are not being bused, but MBTA workes are operating signals manually, rather than automatically, causing delays, Rivera said.
The delays began at 4:23. Workers are now trying to fix the problems. Rivera said she did not know how long the busing would last but she expected the problems to be resolved sometime tonight.
