Democratic leaders in the House and Senate are scheduled to hold separate caucuses this afternoon to discuss state budget cuts.
A public meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. to discuss the rehabilitation this spring of the 80-year-old Boston University Bridge. The Department on Conservation and Recreation will host the meeting at B.U. College of General Studies, 871 Commonwealth Ave., Room 129.
Orchard Gardens receives a $10,000 Neighborhood Revitalization Award for efforts to improve safety and community services. Mayor Thomas M. Menino will recognize the award this morning in a ceremony that celebrates the partnership between the Madison Park Development Corporation and the Boston Police Department.
