Day Ahead:
The State Ethics Commission holds closing arguments in the case of former Massachusetts Turnpike Authority Director Matthew Amorello. He is accused of violating the state's conflict of interest law for allegedly changing the authority's policy on the buyback of unused sick leave, a move that boosted his severance package by about $73,000. Amorello testified before the five-member commission that he had nothing to do with the policy change.
